Judge: Demanding Facebook Passwords Violates First, Fourth Amendments

Judge: Demanding Facebook Passwords Violates First, Fourth Amendments.

When Minnewaska Area School District Aministrators forced a 12-year-old student (identified in court as R.S.) to give them her Facebook login info so they could search for comments they considered inappropriate, they violated her First and Fourth Amendment rights.

Good for the ACLU and for Judge Michael Davis. Students have rights, and teachers and administrators violate them far too often.
